June Ellen Kelleher, 83, of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 28, 2020. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on January 9, 1937 to the late Robert Coulahan and Frances Waters (nee McCarthy) and, until 1998, lived in Massachusetts, where she received her LPN and RN degrees and specialized in psychiatric nursing.
She was incredibly hardworking and loved her cigarettes, coffee, donuts, beehive hairdo, & Friendly’s Ice Cream, in that order. She was a loving, caring and devoted Mother to her three sons, James (Timmy) Kelleher of Albuquerque, NM, Dennis M. Kelleher of Potomac, MD and Neil J. Kelleher formerly of Cottonwood, AZ. She was a wise-cracking, soft-hearted grandmother (“Meme”) to Shaun P. Kelleher of Washington, DC and Justin M. Kelleher, formerly of Arlington, MA; and beloved aunt to Joe, Marlene, Paula, Abigail and Elijah Cordero, also of Cottonwood, AZ. She was preceded in death by her two older sisters Frances Elizabeth and Audrey.
