June Ardith (Hancock) Freestone, 84, of Anderson, passed away on July 14, 2016 at Huntington Parkview Hospital.
She was born on January 7, 1932 in Anderson. The daughter of the late Edward William and Mary Alice (Bryant) Hancock. She lived all her life in Anderson, where she worked for Kroger until they closed. June is survived by her brother, Spencer Judd of Pendleton; son, Russell Eugene (Jean Herrberg) Freestone of Warren; three grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Perea of Tracy, CA, Jennifer (Mike) Johnson of Anderson, Stacy (Dan) Jackson of Huntington; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie R. Freestone; her son, Eddie W. Freestone; three brothers, Forrest Judd, Bert Judd, Samuel Hancock; four sisters, Laurel Krieger, Gladdis Metizer, Gail Michael, Georgianna Sullivan; brother and sister-in-law, John (Phyllis) Christman; and her step-father, Clarence “Uncle Pug” Hancock.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park. www.loosecares.com
