Waterbury – Mr. Julius Fuster, age 83, of Waterbury passed away Saturday February 28, 2015 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mr. Fuster was born in Hungary on November 27, 1931 son of the late Gyula and Julianna (Listar) Fuster. He was an avid chess player, teacher and enjoyed showing many people how to play chess and also enjoyed playing bridge as well. He was very passionate of both games.
Mr. Fuster is survived by a daughter: Elizabeth Gomez and her husband Christian of Miami, Florida, two sisters: Ilonk and Gyuluska both of Hungary and two grandchildren: Andrew Gomez and Nicole Gomez. His former wife, Mercedes Fuster, passed away in 2006 in Miami. He loved her dearly and is now united with her in Heaven embraced by the love of God. Per the wishes of Mr.
