Julio C. Cabrera, 44, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021.

Julio is survived by his daughters: Desirae Elizabeth, Gabriella; sons: Julio Cesar, Jr., Giovanni; mother Susana Garcia; father Rogelio Cabrera; brothers: Rogelio Cabrera, Jr. (Diana), Jorge Cabrera; the mother of his children Sonya; 10 nieces and nephews, his animal babies: cat Ashley, bunny Bandon, German Shephard Bella, also many cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends.

Julio didn’t have the easiest life, throughout it all he made the best of it with a smile and positive attitude. He was curious about the world. He loved looking at the stars at night. He was always learning and trying to find answers on how things worked. He would take apart the engines of toy cars and use them to power other toys. He would have been a great engineer.

He was extremely smart. As a boy he made honors enough times that he received a letter from President George Bush. He would do presentations in front of dozens of people at his congregation. He would recite bible passages, those which he learned to live by. He was not shy, nor was he outspoken, but he knew what he stood for. He was always well put together growing up. Always well dressed with his hair neatly combed and a calculator watch on his wrist. Although he never took himself too seriously. He and his brothers would paly football in the rain, basketball late at night, skateboard down hills, ride bikes in the mountains, paly video games at 7/11, watch Saturday morning cartoons, protect Jorge from bullies at school and help him with his math homework.

He was a caring father. He always worked extremely hard to provide for his family and make them happy. He would take the kids to the park and play basketball or roll down the hills with them. He was good at fixing bikes for he and his boys to ride.

Julio was a loving, kind, hard working, understanding person who always loved making everyone around him happy. He was the glue that held his family together. Although it doesn’t fill that empty void he left in our hearts, he created more space for more loving people to be in our hearts.

We have lost a great soul that will be missed but will never be forgotten.

Julio’s Life Celebration details are to be announced.
