Julianne Marie Roberge, 14, of Newington, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 30th, 2014. Born on December 2, 1999, she is the daughter of Donald and Christine (Chrusciel) Roberge of Newington. Julianne began her freshman year at Newington High School and the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church. Julianne was a generous, loyal and thoughtful person with a heart of gold and the soul of an angel. She had an amazing contagious smile. Julianne’s passions included her animals. She had many pets she loved to care for including her parrot Mango, turtle, chickens and especially her dogs Ruby, Tanzey, and Riley. She loved to garden and be outdoors. She was an extremely talented artist with a beautiful voice. Julianne had many wonderful adventures camping and fishing with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed the beach weeks with her family collecting shells, and watching sunsets. She loved spending time hanging out with her brother and sister and all their friends at the revolving door of the “Roberge Ranch.” Julianne looked forward to her annual family camping times at both Camp Jewel and Hammonasset Beach. In addition to her parents, Julianne is survived by her siblings Steven Roberge of New York, Nicole Roberge of Newington and Nicole’s “prince charming” Christopher Clancy of Newington. Julianne was dearly loved by her grandmothers Ceil (Dolly) Chrusciel of Newington and Nancy Roberge of West Hartford. She is now in the loving care of her grandfather’s Leo Chrusciel and Roger Roberge, both of New Britain. Julianne was very close with her Aunts, Uncles and cousins which include Linda (Chrusciel) and John Buckley and their two sons David and Kyle of New Britain; Cindy (Chrusciel) and Brian Gauthier and their children Christopher, his wife Sarah, and Holly of Centerville, Ohio. Dennis and Kristi Roberge and their children Aimee and Derek of Coventry; Raymond and Constance Roberge and their children, Tom, Jeff and Michelle of Higganum; Rita (Roberge) and Michael McGuinness and their children Brendan, Sarah, and Erin of West Hartford and Bloomfield; Diane (Roberge) and Steve Joseffy of Newington and their son Tyler; Christopher Joseffy of Berlin, and James Lombard and his son Spencer of Newington. She is also survived by Godparents, Linda Jalbert her husband Marcel and their children Jack, Jessie, Luke, Lea and Ian of Avon and Frank Trzcinski, his wife Erika and their son Ethan of Ellington and her Cioci (Aunt) Regina Puzanowski of New Britain. The family would appreciate only positive thoughts, words, and happy reminiscences in order to honor Julianne’s precious life.
