Julian Carmichael, 85, fondly known as ‘Clea’ to his family and friends, resided in Bronx, NY until he moved to Beacon in 1996. On Friday, August 13, 2021 he died at the Fishkill Center of Rehabilitation and Nursing. Julian was born in St. Michael, Barbados West Indies to Preston Hinds and Inez Carmichael.
Clea worked as an auto mechanic for most of his adult life and got great satisfaction in restoring and maintaining anything with wheels.
Clea is survived by his wife Juanita; his sister Alma; his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & friends. They will all miss his laughter & his willingness to offer help.
