Julia Veinus, 93 died Tuesday, August 28, 2007, in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she moved after the death of her husband, Abraham in 2002, she was born on May 3, 1914, New York City, where she earned her Bachelors degree at Hunter College and during WWII, worked as a lab technician.

After a few years in Philadelphia, she moved, in 1949, with her husband to Syracuse, New York, where he taught as a university professor, and where she earned a Masters degree in paleontology, publishing a number of articles in the field.

She is survived by her sons, Peter and Roger, daughter-in-law Janine, Grandson, Aaron, Granddaughter, Alana, and great granddaughter, Reilly; brother, Oliver, and many nieces and nephews. All of us will miss her tremendously.
