Julia (Urban) Yarincik, age 96, died on May 1, 2022. She was the wife of the late John Yarincik. Julia was born in New York City and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Furman) Urban. Julia moved to New Britain in 1949 and retired as Assistant Registrar in the Town Clerk’s Office. She was a member of Divine Providence (St. Joseph) Church, the Rosary Guild, New Britain Council of Catholic Women, VFW Post 511 Auxiliary and New Britain Senior Center and John travelled extensively throughout Europe and the Caribbean. Julia enjoyed reading, crocheting, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She prized her family and the traditions they held, celebrating events both big and warm and caring personality and sense of humor will be missed by family and friends. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves 3 loving and caring children: John (Debbi) Yarincik of Southington, Paul (Michele) Yarincik of Kensington and Carol (Jeffrey) Amenta of Southington; her grandchildren: Kristen Yarincik (Chris Dionot), John Yarincik, Melissa (Cliff) Lorenzo, Candace (Jon) Rinaldi, Justin Amenta, Dr. Paul (Shauna) Yarincik and Allison (Joseph) Gandini; her great-grandchildren: Kendra, Anna, Olivia, Avery, Vivienne, Gregory, Audrey, William, Aidan and Maya. She is also survived by her nephew John Urban. She was predeceased by her sister Isabel, and brothers Thomas, Edmund and John.Julia’s family would like to thank the excellent nurses at the Infusion Center at HOCC for their care and support.
