Julia Smith, 80 of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Centralia Fireside Nursing Home. She was born on January 19, 1938, in Centralia, the daughter of Cecil Myers and Eunice (Erskine) Sheridan Myers.
She is survived by two sons: Mark Smith and wife Tena of Centralia and Bobby Smith and wife Angela of Salina, KS; seven grandchildren: Casey, Marc, Christopher, Casadie, Savanna, Avery, and Elizabeth; three great-grandchildren; a sister: Sherry Francois of Melburn, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew: Keith Francois, and a brother-in-law: Charlie Francois. Julia was a CHS Graduate of the Class of 1956, an Orphan Cheerleader, and was elected Homecoming Queen in 1956. She was always thankful for those experiences. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Centralia. She was an avid reader. Julia’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
