Julia M. (Buczek) Bindas, 89, of New Britain, beloved wife of the late William Bindas, passed away on Monday, (August 27, 2012) at her home. She was born in Taunton, MA, daughter of the late Michael and Kate (Baradowska) Buczek; she resided in New Britain for the past 70 years. Before her retirement, she had been employed by Lifshultz and the D & L Warehouse of New Britain for many years. Julia is survived by her daughters, Phyllis J. Smiegocki of New Britain and her fiancAC. William Bailey of Glastonbury and Katherine R. Marcinczyk and her husband, Paul of Southington: four grandchildren, Robert Smiegocki and his wife Zoila and Lynn Smiegocki of New Britain, Paul Marcinczyk of Southington, Michael Marcinczyk and his wife Christian of East Hartford; her great-granddaughter Ella Grace Marcinczyk; her brother Stephen Buczek of New Britain and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
