Julia “Judy” McGinnis McDonald, age 74, passed away on Tuesday. Born in Lincolnton, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Daniel McGinnis and Gladys Mae Goodman McGinnis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Blue McDonald, her sisters, Jonnie Dohman and Bobbie Padgett and a grandson, Steven Hooker, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Francis Shelly Bailey & companion, Steve Hooker; her sisters, Jackye Cushing and Frankye Watson; her brother, Butch McGinnis; her grandsons, Kevin Bailey, Jr., Dustin Hooker and Daniel Blackmon; her special friend, Susan Cottle; all of her McGinnis clan and her McDonald family in Lillington.
