Judith “Judy” E. Wilkey, age 66, of Galveston, Texas, formerly of Centralia, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 25th, 2015. Judy was born in Centralia on March 15th, 1949 to parents James and Dola (Gaultney) Hodges. She married Robert G. Wilkey in 1967 and he preceded her in death on January 11th, 2005.

She is survived by her children, Beth Mifflin and significant other, Ron Boles of Galveston, TX, Deniece Brittingham of Shiloh, IL, and Robert Wilkey and wife Misti of Salem, IL; five grandchildren, Jamie Rimel and husband Dale, Krystin Rousan and husband Shane, Zachary Stock, Taylor Mifflin and Brooklynn Wilkey; two great-grandchildren, Zaedyn Silvas and Grant Rousan; and five siblings, J.O. Hodges, Jerry Hodges, Linda Bauman, Doris Peper and Karen “Susie” Stanford.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Judy worked in the nursing field in Centralia and Chester, IL for over 30 years. She enjoyed caring for others and received a Florence Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing for her exceptional care for the elderly. She adored animals and especially loved spoiling dogs. She found great joy in attending church, playing bingo and shopping, but most of all she cherished her time sharing in laughter and love with her family and friends.
