Judy Boyd, age 69, of Algona, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at West Bend Health and Rehab in West Bend. Judy Irene Boyd, the daughter of Robert Louis and Ruth Emily (Bruellman) Sigsbee, was born on August 6, 1951 in Algona, Iowa. She graduated from Algona High School in 1969 and continued her education at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Judy worked as a nurse’s aid in her earlier years and continued her working years as a waitress. On January 2, 2004, Judy was united in marriage to Timothy Boyd. Judy enjoyed observing the beauty of nature and loved animals. She loved to cook, bake, sew, read and visiting with relatives. Judy had a heart of gold and a generous spirit and will be greatly missed by the many people who knew and loved her. Left to cherish Judy’s memory are her husband, Timothy; her sister, Muriel Secker and her husband Martin of Auburn, CA; brother, James Sigsbee and his wife Deborah of Sioux Center and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Sigsbee Jr.
