Judy Fraley Booth, 61, of Alpena passed from this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. She was born on September 18, 1949 in Dos Palos, Calif. to V.W. and Jessie Fraley. Judy graduated from Alpena High School in 1967 and went on to graduate Harrison Vo-Tech School as an L.P.N. On August 23, 1969 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Booth. She was an office nurse for Dr. Hammon for a number of years. The past 20 years she was employed at Alpena Schools as Child Nutrition Director . Judy was devoted to her faith and was an active member of Moore FreeWill Baptist Church. She served as song leader, Sunday school teacher and in numerous other capacities. She was dedicated to her career and will be remembered for her cheerful spirit and encouragement to many students. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and an outstanding grandmother. Judy enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest. She was a member of Alpena Redneck Redhatters. Her interest included Branson Shows, reading, crafting, genealogy, photography, music and camping. Her greatest love in life was spending time with family and friends and playing with her grandson. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Booth of the home, daughter, Tammy Raney and husband Scott of Harrison, father, V. W. Fraley of Alpena, 2 year old grandson, Samuel Raney, brother, Bill and wife Wanita Fraley of Alpena, nephew, Aaron Fraley, Goddaughter, Fawn and husband Russell Treat along with Mattie of Leslie and sister-in law, Sally Stallbaumer and husband Jim of Rossville Kansas. She was preceded in death by her mother Jessie Ruth Fraley.
