Judith Maria Gatley, age 72 passed away April 4, 2023 on what was her 53rd wedding anniversary, surrounded by her loving family at OSU James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She grew up, surrounded by the love of her family on Jones Place in Yonkers, NY where she was the 7th of 10 children. Judy met the love of her life and future husband, Alan (Al) Gatley, and the two were married on April 4, 1970 at St. Joseph’s Church in Yonkers, NY and later moved to Columbus, Ohio.
While raising their children, Judy decided to go back to school and earn her Associate’s Degree and RN license from Columbus State Community College. Judy worked 23 years at Dodd Hall rehabilitation center at OSU hospital. She touched many lives in her career as an RN.
Judy is proceeded in death by her parents, Daniel and Kathryn (Connery) Mullin, as well as her loving husband Al. Her sisters, Rita, Mary Jo (Doey), as well as brothers-in-law, Bill, Marty, and Jack and sister-in-law, Annette.
Judy is survived by her loving children, Daniel (Wendy), Heather, Brian (Stephanie), Courtney (Joe) McGrew. She was loved by her children, in-laws, and her 14 grandchildren, Brianna, Gavin (Laura), Madison, Justin, Michael, Matthew, Trevor, Ryan, Noelle, Alyssa, Mikey, Brady, Parker, Ethan, and one great granddaughter, Baylee. Judy is also survived by many siblings Ginger, Patty (Dave), Tommy (Frida), Jinxy, Danny (Dottie), Geri, Kerry (Terry) and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
