Judith M. McMahon, age 62, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Judy was born November 9, 1959 in Stevens Point, WI to Stephen and Clara (Wolloch) Kawleski.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids with the class of 1977 and furthered her education earning a diploma as a medical transcriptionist from Mid-State Technical College.

Judy was united in marriage to Robin McMahon on February 17, 1979 in Rudolph, WI.

She was a school bus driver for Safe-Way for 20 years and later worked as a claims technician at Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point.

Judy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and the many fur babies she had over the years.  She enjoyed camping and taking rides on the golf cart with the puppies.  She loved anything with a pig on it, and had an extensive collection of pig figurines and other collectables.

Judy is survived by her husband, Robin; three sons: Shane (Nikki) McMahon of Neenah, WI, Jamie McMahon of Appleton, WI, and Travis (Jennie) McMahon of Wisconsin Rapids; five grandchildren: Averi, Sage, Brienna, Travis, and Riley; sister, Charlotte Anderson of Nekoosa; sisters-in-law: Joy (Bob) Ziemann and Ginger (Delbert) Jeffrey of Wisconsin Rapids; and her beloved dogs Gilligan and Cheyenne.  She is preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Richard and Dixie McMahon; brother, Ron (Jean) Kawleski; brother-in-law, Richard McMahon Jr.; and sisters-in-law: Darlene (Dick) Trickle and Linda Pospisiel; and her beloved dogs: Jesse, Buddy, Sparky, Aspen, and Kayla.

The family would like to thank United Emergency Medical Response, the Grand Rapids Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, and the staff in the ER at Aspirus Riverview Hospital for their assistance and wonderful care.

The family requests memorials to be designated to the South Wood County Humane Society in honor of Judy’s love of dogs.
