Judith K. Pittman, age 73, of Salem, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at home with her family at her side. She was born October 8, 1941 in Sebring, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul R. and Martha R. (Votaw) Smith. Judith worked at the former Genie Corp in Alliance and retired in 2003 as an inspector, and was a 1959 graduate of Alliance High School. She is survived by three daughters, Gay Dawn (Eddy) Wolff of Rootstown, Ohio, Kimberly (Kevin Bhe) Law of Columbiana, and Dawna Schreiber of Lisbon; one sister, Jodene (John) Rasile of Alliance; one brother, James R. (Brenda) Smith of Dunedin, Florida; and four grandchildren, Eddy (Shannon) Wolff Jr., Sara (Keith) Porter, Samantha (Brandon) Burkey and Matthew Spack; and seven great-grandchildren, Angelina Burkey, Timothy Burkey, Maverik Spack, Shylo Porter, Emma Wolff, Lily Wolff and Tehya Porter. Her husband, Donald R. Pittman, whom she married June 11, 1962, preceded her in death May 27, 2013 and a sister, Paulette J. Montgomery.
