     Her memory will be forever with us all. Born August 26, 1941 to Jenning’s H. (Jeff) Nelson and Edith Christina Grundstrom. Duluth, Minnesota was her home. Here she met her husband Larry of 61 years during his Air Force years. They landed in Mound, Minnesota and raised their three children. During the ‘Mound’ days they joined the Mohawk  Jaycees making life long friend’s. Sharing wonderful events together a favorite memory were the camping days. California called and they packed up to beautiful southern California. Ocean views mother loved. Dad’s work took them to Northern California, Benicia. Experiencing incredible San Francisco which reminded her of her days in Duluth, Minnesota. She suffered breast cancer and Dad and her found Colorado. An early retirement was inevitable. Saguache, CO. brought enduring friends. She participated in the Russel Lakes Springs Society, Red Hat Ladies, Saguache Ladies Group, numerous community turkey dinners. Home Health Care worker PCP. Unbelievable mountains and peace. If anyone shopped Wal-Mart they new Judy and Larry for their Demo job; they were celebrities!
Proceeded in death by her brother Jim Nelson Duluth, MN who also was called home May 31, 2011.
Survivors loving and devoted husband of 61 years Larry Lowe. Daughter Christine Christie of Minnesota; a son Richard Lowe of Oklahoma and son Terry Lowe of Saguache, CO.. Terry a special, caring and unselfish son who has devoted himself to his parents. Richard who helped establish their home in Saguache. Christine was blessed to have lived in Saguache with her parents for six years. Learning to love the things that her Mother loved in the Valley and mountain life.
Grandchildren Nina (Jamie) Kaiser of Minnesota, Andrea (Justin) Christenson of Minnesota and Chuck Christie of Minnesota; Great grandchildren Rylan, Brennan, Kedan, Kora Kaiser and Jennings Christenson. Also many friends and family members that have surrounded her.
