Judith A. (Ingersoll) Funk, 77, of West Lafayette, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at home with family by her side.

She was born June 12, 1944, in Tyler, TX to the late Paul G. and Thelma F. (Snyder) Ingersoll. She was a 1962 graduate of Richland Township High School, she continued her education at Indiana University School of Nursing, graduating in 1966. On June 12, 1965, she married her best friend and forever love, Michael L. Funk, and he survives. Judy cared for people and as a registered nurse worked as a Public Health Nurse for Indianapolis, as an Industrial Nurse for the Allison Division of General Motors of Indianapolis, Colman Women’s Hospital, University Hospital, and Home Hospital.  She also worked at the School of Nursing and Lafayette Arnett Clinic.

Judy was strong in her faith and enjoyed reading the bible and attended Connection Point Church. She also enjoyed playing piano and hiking with her daughter and granddaughters.

Along with her husband Michael, she is survived by her children, Dana Funk and David (Jody) Funk both of Lafayette; and 2 granddaughters, Addison Ann and Evelyn Grace Funk and a sister Linda Ratcliff of Crawfordsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Thelma.

Due to the weather the date has changed to Monday February 7, 2022, at Connection Point Church.
