Juanita Slaughter, 76, of Wilkinson, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Country Home Health Care in Charlottesville. She was born January 26, 1936 in Bartholomew Co, IN to the late Charles and Wilma (Hendershot) Dobbs. Juanita had been a registered nurse at Hancock Memorial Hospital.
She was a graduate of Hope High School and St. Mary’s of the Woods Nursing School and a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Shirley. Juanita is survived by sons: Ted E. (Jean) Slaughter of Wilkinson, Tod O. (Laura) Slaughter of Lexington, KY and Tim D. (Nancy) Slaughter of Harrodsburg, KY; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis E. “Frank” Slaughter and brother Jackie Dobbs.
