Juanita “Janie” Perez Trevino, age 80, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2010. Born in Boerne, TX, on Dec. 27, 1929, she was the daughter of Jose Perez and Maria Muro. She had been a lifelong resident of Boerne and was the 3rd generation of her family in Kendall County. She was also a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband, David Trevino, Sr., son, David Trevino, Jr., sisters, Tony Perez and Jesusita Jimenez, and brothers, Joe Perez, Jr., Pedro Perez, and Hilario Perez, Janie is survived by daughter, Toni Paiz; son, Johnny Jimenez; grandchildren, Joe Trevino, Andrew Paiz, and Christina Balero; great grandchildren, Kierzen Balero, Nia and Nicole Paiz, Derric Sagisi, and Manny Lopez. The Recitation of the Rosary will be on Tuesday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m.
