Juanita “Snook” McNeal, 40, of Ellicott City passed away on Wednesday, October, 7. She was born in Washington, DC on January 6th1980. Juanita was a graduate from Parkdale High School, afterward she attended Bowie University where she graduated with two Bachelor’s Degrees. Juanita also attended Carnegie Mellon and University of Maryland.  Juanita worked for AOL for 6 years while she was a college student. She went on to work for E-Trade, Marriott Hotel and most recent Kaiser Permanente. Juanita was a hard worker, she would volunteer her time with different organizations when she was a teenager. When Juanita wasn’t working or volunteering, she enjoyed reading, but most of all Juanita loved her children.  Jarred, Jacinda, and Samuel were her life, she loved to travel with them. One of Juanita’s famous sayings, “Family is love, love is family.” She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 

Juanita is survived by her life time devoted partner, Samuel D. Fordjour Sr., her children, Jarred A. McNeal, Jacinda A.M. McNeal-Fordjour, and Samuel D Fondjour Jr. Her mother, Viola McNeal, brothers, Andrew and Dominique McNeal, her grandmother, Dorothy McNeal, her uncles, Johnny and Joseph McNeal, her aunt, Ruth McNeal, along with her father-in-law, George Holdbrook, mother-in-law, Dora Fordjour, brother-in-law, Francis Kwarteng, sister-in-laws, Anna Fordjour, Charity Fordjour, and Francisca Fordjour. She is predeceased by her Uncle Russell McNeal Jr.
