Juanita Combs, 87, of Glenn Street, South Bend, IN, passed away at 8:50 p.m., Friday, in St. Joseph Care Center-West, Trinity Unit. Juanita was born on December 8, 1917 in Jasonville, IN, to John and Annie (Graham) Harlan. On July 26, 1936, in Vincennes, IN, as Juanita Harlan, she married Curtis W. Combs, who preceded her in death on July 11, 1999. Also preceding her in death were two children, Phyllis Combs and William Keith Combs; two sisters, Ruby Van Sant and Gertrude Craig; and one brother, Clifford Harlan.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy (Gregory) Dabrowiak of North Liberty, IN, and Deborah (Ray) Daniel of Franklin, IN; one son, Brian Combs of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Jay (Joni) Daniel, Sean Daniel, Ashley Daniel, Derek (Tracy) Dabrowiak; and one great-grandson, Aidan Ray Daniel.
