Juanita C. Cochran Phillips, 75, Anderson, died January 13, 2009 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born February 2, 1933 in Liberty, Kentucky, where she lived until moving to Anderson in 1958.
Juanita worked for General Motors for 15 years. She attended Meadowbrook Baptist Church. She was a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts and helped out at church.
Survivors include her sons, Tony Phillips, Tim Phillips and Donnie Phillips & wife, Mona all of Anderson; grandchildren, Koty Phillips McDole & husband, Jimmy, Kati Phillips, Daylon Phillips, Rick Brown, Laurie Book and Nicole McCallister; great grandchildren, Makayla McDole, Jamison McDole, Jeremiah Phillips, and Jamia Phillips; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend and nephew, James Michael Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Phillips, in 1971; parents, Bud & Ora Wilson Cochran; and seven brothers and sisters.
