Juanetta Dunbar, 71 of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
She was born April 7, 1944 in Poplar Bluff, MO, daughter of Algie Brannon and Lillian (Haines) Brannon. She married Stanley Dunbar, October 19, 1963 and they later divorced.
She is survived by five children: Troy Dunbar and wife Dee Dee of Centralia, Julie Myers and husband Norman of Centralia, Greg Dunbar and special friend Marsha Gill of Port Huron, MI, Kurt Dunbar and special friend Nicole Campbell of Centralia and Patricia Mifflin and husband Bobby of Centralia; nine grandchildren: Mitchell Mathis, Parish Dunbar, Quinton Upchurch, Natalie Bialozynski, Brycen Myers, Kaleb Dunbar, Kody Dunbar, Tess Slusher, and Kevin Sherlock; five step-grandchildren: Abigail Holzapple, Liam Holzapple, Danielle McAbee, Tyler McAbee and Dylan McAbee; three sisters: Lovetta Kaiser and husband Ronald of Fairview Heights, Barbara Bright of Nashville, and Peggy Watts of Collinsville; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Juanetta worked in Dietary at St. Mary’s Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of the Central City Lioness and the UCT, United Commercial Travelers. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and cooking. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
