Juanell S. Andrix, 74 of St. Cloud, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday August 3, 2021. Juanell was born in Folkston, Georgia to Joel F. and Vernell B. Spradley. She was raised in St. Marys, Georgia. The first of 8 siblings, she completed high school in 1964 at Camden County High in Woodbine, Georgia. Upon completion of high school, she started her career as a dental assistant. She worked for Dr. Albert J. Bauknecht in St. Marys, Georgia until he opened an office in Jacksonville, Florida. She continued to work for him which led to her moving to Jacksonville. It was while living in Jacksonville that she first met David J. Andrix, D.V.M. They fell in love and married on November 20, 1971. Dr. Andrix and Juanell moved to St. Cloud, Florida in 1973 where Dr. Andrix established the first veterinary clinic in St. Cloud, Florida. Juanell was the clinic manager and ran the business end of things allowing Dr. Andrix to dedicate his time to his patients. Juanell had other outside interest from the clinic. She was a past officer and a member of the Jr. Woman’s Club for 15 years. Also, Appointee to the Osceola Commission on the Status of Women in 1977-1979. Juanell and her husband have always been active members of the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce where she served as President in 1978-1979. In 1980 Juanell became interested in real estate where she studied and received top grades and earned her real estate license. She was a Realtor Associate with Beehive Realty, Inc. She also was an associate member of the Osceola County Board of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Juanell was a Public Notary for several years but she never left her responsibilities that kept her grounded at the veterinary clinic. Juanell was a breast cancer survivor. She and Dr. Andrix are members of the St.

Juanell was preceded in death by her father: Joel F. Spradley, mother: Vernell B. Spradley, sister: Joanne Spradley Nolder and nephew: Joe Spradley.

Juanell is survived by her husband of 49 years, David John Andrix, D.V.M., daughter: Alika (Bo) McDonald, grandson: Schrade McDonald, granddaughters: Maci McDonald and Allie McDonald, brothers: Sammy (Kathy) Spradley, Buddy (Judy) Spradley, Russell (Tina) Spradley, sisters: Shirley (David) Hudson, Peggy (Grant) Everage and Tammy (Brooke) Rowe and many nieces and nephews.

Juanell was a BLESSING to our large family. Our love and fond memories of her will continue to be blessing for “GOD IS GOOD”.
