Joyce W. Brisard, 81 of Lakeland, passed away December 9, 2012 . Joyce was born July 25, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH to Jack and Emma (Davis) Woods and moved to Lakeland in 1950 coming from Plant City. Joyce was united in marriage on April 13, 1946 in Georgia to her husband, Fred D. Brisard, Jr. who preceded her in death in May of 2005. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, June and Margie; her twin brother, Jack Woods and brothers, Marcus, Benny and Toby Woods. Joyce is survived by her son, Fred & his wife Elaine Brisard, III of Safety Harbor, FL; her sister, Mary Rowe of Coleman, FL; grandsons, Ephrem Brisard, & Adam McLarty; her three great-grandchildren, Erin and Grace McLarty & Keegan Brisard, and numerous nieces & nephews.
