Mrs. Phipps was a supervisor at Wertz Novelty for twenty two years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise, and loved to play bingo and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Joyce was a consummate caregiver and always there to lend a hand.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff Phipps, (wife, Kelly), Muncie, and Bill Phipps, (wife, Teresa), Yorktown; her brother, Jerry Ross, Stearns, Kentucky; two sisters, Novella Woods, (husband, Larry), and Betsy Phillips, (husband, Roy), Stearns, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and a brother.
