Joyce Moma Joyce M. Brown, 68 died on Monday, November 17, 2014, at her Fairmount, Indiana. residence. Born Thursday, May 9, 1946 in Hardingsburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lee Sosh and the late Elberta K. Poole Sosh. Joyce had been a bartender and a caregiver and had worked at Delta Electric for many years. Joyce enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, playing cards, old country music and riding her golf cart around Fairmount. Surviving are son, Wendell Gene (Angie) Brown of Summitville, IN, daughter, Crystal (Mike Abrams) Brown, Hartford City brother, Roger Dowell, FL sisters, Sue Smallwood of Hardingsburg, KY and Lorna Jean (Art) Bivens of Seree, KY Grandchildren: Brandi Brown, Jonesboro, IN Jesse Brown, Summitville, IN Sarah and Katelyn Abrams, Hartford City, IN Tad Brown, Gas City, IN Brian Quakenbush, Gas City, IN Blake Smith, Summitville, IN Justine Burdette, Gas City, IN Great-Granddaughters; Brailynn Nicole Quakenbush and Marlee Burdette Joyce was preceded in death by son Jimmy L. Brown in 2008, 2 Granddaughters: Brianna M. Brown in 2009 and Rachel Sosh in 2001. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Fairmount Chapel Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services located at 415 S. Main St. Fairmount, Indiana 46928 with the Pastor Paul Brown officiating. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2014, at Fairmount Chapel Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Play Acres Park for a tree in memory of Moma Joyce or to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home.
