Joyce Jane (Lowers) Slimmon, 88, of Bethlehem, went home on Thursday, December 24, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Paul Slimmon for 66 years. Born on July 10, 1932 in Detroit, MI, Joyce was a daughter of the late Cassius and Geraldine (Pace) Lowers. Joyce was a wonderful homemaker, caring for her family, but she found time to work at the Lehigh Valley Dairy and Pennywise clothing store. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church serving on the Children’s Ministry, Fellowship and Church décor committees. Joyce was an ardent craft person with a love for miniatures. Joyce was a member of the Lehigh Valley Small on Scale Miniature Club for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing bridge and pinochle with friends in various groups including playing at Traditions of Hanover.
Survivors: Joyce will be lovingly missed by her husband Paul; sons, Paul Slimmon (Karen) and David Slimmon; daughter, Donna Segesdy (Jim); 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sister, Donna Leach. She was predeceased by brother, Cassius “Bud” Lowers and sister, Carol Romanuk.
