Joyce Helen Herrmann, 92, of Westminster, died on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Copper Ridge in Sykesville after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. Born on July 23, 1929 in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William Owen Davis and Helen Mae Varner. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Joseph Herrmann who died on February 9, 2000.
Before retiring, Joyce was a Real Estate Agent for Century 21. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and she enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by two children, Andrew “Andy” W. Herrmann and wife Linda of Swampscott, MA, and Nancy L. Comegna and husband Bill of Westminster; four grandchildren Christina Herrmann Niles, Leslie Ann Herrmann, Brian Christopher Comegna, and Jason Michael Comegna; and brother David Davis. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son David Henry Herrmann, and her sister Lorraine Mae (Davis) Herrmann.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
