Joyce Davis, 73, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died Tuesday night, April 17, 2007 at her home with family by her side.Joyce was born November 24, 1933 in Dante, Virginia to Robert and Hassie (Bryant) Miller. On June 16, 1965, she married Oren “Red” Davis in Crown Pointe, Indiana, he preceded her in death on January 18, 2007. Joyce moved with her family from Gary, Indiana 30 years ago to make their home in Three Oaks. She enjoyed needlepoint, embroidery and quilting.

She was an avid doll collector; spent time nurturing her flower and vegetable gardens, and played video games. She also loved tap dancing and jazz dancing, and took lessons and performed in dance recitals as an adult. Joyce loved being surrounded by friends and family, talking on the phone, cooking and entertaining, especially during the holidays.

She was known lovingly as “Memaw” by her grandchildren.Survivors include her children, Levoda Kieth of Three Oaks; Bobby (Tina) Delph of Hobart, Indiana; Johnny (Daneice) Delph of Portage; Billy Joe (Amy) Delph of Portage and Melissa Davis of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Michael, Jillian, Oren, Travis, Haley, Hanna and Leah and her great granddaughter, Margaret.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Pobocik Funeral Home in Three Oaks with Charles McKelvy as Celebrant.
