Joyce Arlene Graddy Parker, 72, Anderson, peacefully went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family, November 20, 2011 at Harrison Terrace Nursing Facility, Indianapolis, IN.
She was born December 24, 1938 in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident. A 1957 graduate of Anderson High School, Joyce worked for many years for J.C. Penney and in 1990 went to work for Core Source, retiring from there. She was a member of Madison Park Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married July 7, 1957, Larry Parker; children, Teresa Parker of Anderson, Karen Gibson Chris of Alexandria & Scott Parker of Indianapolis; siblings, Ramona Brown Phil, Charles Graddy, both of Anderson and Julie Cieslak Bob of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Joshua, Ashlee, Brandon, Jacob, Kameron, Taylor & Kierston; great grandchildren, Justin & Jenna; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Martha Cottrell Graddy.
