Joyce A Reynolds passed away Monday, December 19, 2011. She was born July 28, 1924, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Gordon and Bernice Willis Reynolds. Joyce belonged to Portage Senior Center & Sisterhood for many years.
On September 24, 1942, she married William Van Brooke, who preceded her in death on May 4, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her son, Mark Van Brooke; brothers, Ralph Dorothy Reynolds and Leonard Reynolds; sister, Mary Lou Robert Gray and sister-in-law Betty Joe Bowen Joyce.
Surviving are her daughter, Kay James Bauer; 4 grandchildren, Kevin, Craig Ellen, Christopher Bauer, and Michelle Aaron Pratto; and 5 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Nathan, Sophia, Lydia Bauer, and Corynn Pratto. She was an aunt, cousin, and friend to many. In accordance with Joyce’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
