Joyce A. Dyarman, 76, of Carlisle, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 6, 2012.  

 

Born April 3. 1936 in Middlesex, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Kathryn (Lebo) Myers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert E. Dyarman, who died August 31, 1994.

 

Joyce was a 1954 graduate of Carlisle High School.  She worked at Dillsburg Shoe, Carlisle Shoe, McCoy Electronics and Carlisle Container.  

 

She was a member of Waggoner’s United Methodist Church, Carlisle, where she was formerly a Children’s Sunday School Teacher and a helper in the nursery.  She was also a member of the North Middleton Senior Citizens .  She was a volunteer for the March of Dimes and Project Share.  Joyce liked to sew and spend time with her family.

 

She is survived by three daughters:  Roxanne ( and her husband, Steve) Shank of Gardners; Rita (and her husband, Ed) Coover of Carlisle, with whom she resided; and Tammy Gage of Carlisle; a sister:  Treva Barrick of Newville; and a brother:  Chester Myers of Dillsburg; six grandchildren:  Juanita Shank of Harrisburg; Matthew (and his wife, Danielle) Coover of Carlisle; Dustin (and his wife, Jeanette) Coover of Shippensburg; Cortney (and her husband, Miley) Jumper of Carlisle; Benjamin Shank of Minnesota; Lindsey (and her husband, Kirk) Baublitz of Mechanicsburg; six great grandchildren:  Arianna Wright; Paige and Wyatt Coover; McKayla, McKenzie and Nicholas Jumper; and one step granddaughter; Anneka Baublitz of Mechanicsburg.
