Joyce A. Migas, 61, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2006, in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, Indiana.
Joyce was born on February 20, 1944, in South Bend, Indiana, to Chester and Zenobia (Orszulak) Migas and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1962. Joyce worked as a receptionist for Associates, The Osteopathic Hospital, Signius Answering Service, and The South Bend Tribune.
She is survived by her mother, Zenobia Migas of South Bend; her brother, John Migas of South Bend; her sister Kathy (Paul R.) Chapman of Indianapolis, Indiana; a niece, Amanda Couture of Evansville, Indiana; three nephews, Joseph (Stephanie) Migas of Granger, Indiana; Dennis Migas of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Benjamin (Wendy) Couture of Dallas, Texas; by two great nephews, Andy and Jason Migas, both of Granger; and by her sister-in-law, Pat Migas of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Migas and by her brother, Andrew Migas.
Joyce enjoyed her many collections and Notre Dame sports. She was devoted to her family and doted on her niece and nephews. In her younger years, she traveled widely.
