Joy Reed, 60, of Anderson, passed away October 29, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born September 27, 1955 in Muncie, and resided most of her life in Anderson. Joy graduated from Highland High School in 1973, and she was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, doing floral arrangements, and crafts. She also enjoyed working with her dogs. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Joy is survived by her children, Brian (Anne) Reed of Washington, Jeff (Rheanna) Reed of Anderson, and Melissa (Shannon) Owen of Georgia, 2 brothers, Steven Spaulding of Anderson , and Rick (Bobbie) Spaulding of Anderson, mother Betty Spaulding of Anderson, grandchildren, Connor and Vincent Reed, Travis and Jillian Reed, Xander and Liam Owen. She was also survived by her sister-in-law Leta (Gary) Cunningham, 1 nephew, Matt Cunningham, and 2 nieces, Trina Van Blaricum, and Loranda Trissel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony L. Reed, father Leo E. Spaulding, father-in-law, Jim Reed and her mother-in-law, Jerry Reed.
