Joshua Douglas Hoskinson (Joshy Washy Doodle All Day), our son, our friend, our pride and joy, blessing our family on November 11, 1989, has passed away after a brief illness October 10, 2020.
Josh was a shining light in our family, and is deeply missed. Josh loved his family, his friends, his Country and was a huge Trump supporter! (That had to be mentioned, Josh would appreciate that!). Josh was a kind soul. He would help anyone in need, friend or stranger, it didn’t matter. He enjoyed helping people and never expected anything in return. Josh loved country music, camping and his truck. Josh loved going to Firebird Raceway and racing the quarter mile. He loved turnin’ wrenches with his best friend Brandon McKibben, a dear and loyal friend to Josh. Josh loved to cook, his specialty…anything in a Dutch Oven. He made the best dinners and desserts, something Addison loved and misses. Josh loved the excitement of sitting outside on a stormy night, yelling at the sky as the lightening and thunder flashed and crashed all around him. Josh had a favorite saying, “I do what I want”, I can still hear him saying “I do what I want Mother!”. But most of all, Josh loved his girls, they were the most important treasures in his life.
Josh is survived by his daughters Addison Hoskinson, Harper Torrey and Mackenzie Hoskinson, his parents Doug & Deanna Hoskinson, sisters Brianna Hoskinson (Troy) & Erica Cung (Huan), brothers Christopher Ellison, & Justin Hitchborn (Stefanie), grandparents Vicki Marshall and Gene O’Gorman, fiancé Linsay McDaniel and many aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces & nephews to mention but just as important. He was receded in death by his Grandpa Richard, Grandma Eva and “favorite” niece, Aubriana Taylyn Ellison. We believe Josh and Aubri are together in Heaven watching over us all. Joshua Douglas Hoskinson was a friend to many and loyal to all.
Rest in Peace my sweet one, until we meet again.
