Joshua “JB” Lee Burgess, 33, of Indianapolis passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, in Indianapolis.
He was born on May 12, 1984, in Beech Grove, to his parents, William “Keith” and Kimberly L. (Coonfield) Burgess.
He was a 2002 graduate of Lutheran High School, in Indianapolis.
He was a Youth Leader at City view Christian Center.
Josh loved serving and telling others about God. He enjoyed playing baseball, volleyball, running and working out.
Joshua had attended classes at the Indiana School of Ministry, in Indianapolis.
JB had a passion and a gift for chalk art. Most of all, he loved his daughter Mc Kenzie and spending time with her.
Joshua is survived by his daughter, Mc Kenzie Burgess of Indianapolis; his parents, William “Keith” and Kimberly L. (Coonfield) Burgess of Indianapolis; one sister, Brandie Burgess of Indianapolis; grandparents, Phil and Barb Martin, grandmother, Uneda Burgess; great-grandmother, Mildred Ferrell, and Uncle Glen (Jenny) Kellett.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leon Burgess; great-grandmother, Glenda Lanland; and his great-great grandfather, George Warner.
