Josephine “Palo” Riggione Iannotti, 87, of West Haven passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday May 23, 2011 in Connecticut Hospice. For 52 years she was the loving wife of the late Michael Iannotti. Beloved mother of five sons: Frank (Linda), Robert (Glenna), Michael (Kathy), Richard and Ronald (Dawn) Iannotti. She leaves fifteen cherished grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Kevin, Mark, Kristen, Ronald, Tina, Jennifer, Richard, Christopher, Courtney, Jason and Dustin Iannotti, Dena Peglow and Lisa Ferrucci and seventeen adored great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Sister of Louise Magnotti of Hamden. She was predeceased by her great grandson James Paul Peglow, four brothers Peter, Neil, Salvatore and Michael Riggione and three sisters Mary Inglese, Janet Rubino and her twin Theresa Ballou who died on the same date 26 years prior. Josephine’s family would like to thank the medical staff on the 10th floor at Smilow Cancer Center and the nursing staff at CT. Hospice in Branford for their compassion and care.
