Josephine M. Noyes, 93, of Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up in Garwood, NJ and then raised her own family there before moving to Berkeley Twp. 30 years ago. Josephine began as a Switch Board Operator for Bell Telephone then worked as a Secretary in the Guidance Department at Johnson Regional High School in Clark, NJ for 20 years.
She was a member of the Pinelands Reformed Church, Toms River, the Silver Ridge Park North Women’s Club and Golf Club and the Order of the Eastern Star, Cranford, NJ. Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Walter Noyes, in 2011. She is survived by her 2 daughters Linda Bykowski of Edison, NJ and Susan Szczepanek and her husband Henry of Wall, NJ and 3 grandchildren James J. Bykowski, Jeffrey & Brian Szczepanek.
The family will receive friends Monday 4-7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
