Josephine “Josie” (LoGiudice) Anderson of Cromwell, beloved wife of Donald “Don” L. Anderson, Sr., passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Born on May 12, 1939 in Wallingford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Anna (Masella) LoGiudice. Josie attended Middletown schools, graduated Middletown High School Class of 1957 where she met her husband. Don and Josie were high school sweethearts who were married 54 years. After high school, she worked for the Atomic Energy Commission and for Hartford National Bank as a secretary in the Credit Department. After raising five children, Josie went back to work as a Financial Aid Officer at Holy Apostles College in Cromwell and then worked for 16 years as a Senior Financial Aid Officer at the University of Hartford before retiring in May of 1996. Josie was a former President of St. John’s Women’s Guild and a member of the Past President’s Club of St. John’s parish. She was an avid UCONN college basketball fan who loved to watch and attend UCONN Women’s and CT Sun basketball games.
