Josephine “Jodi” Terry Kingsley, age 81, of Gainesville, VA passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Gainesville Health and Rehab. Born on January 14, 1934 in Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Douglas and Alice (Paul) Grieve, Jodi met her husband at the Irving Trust Company in Manhattan. Jodi is preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Alice McTaggart, and brother Patrick Grieve. Raising her children in Matawan, New Jersey, Jodi soon pursued a degree in restaurant management, and later worked for Bell Labs and managed a kitchen in the Collier School for Girls in Holmdel, NJ. Interested in music from a young age, Jodi pursued a career as a jazz singer in the Washington DC area, and later founded her own musical production company, Exclusive Arts, where she produced several regionally acclaimed musicians. She loved discovering new artists and always telling a good joke! Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, William E. Kingsley; three children, William G. Kingsley of Berwyn PA, Janet E. and Ramin Pertee of Rixeyville, VA and Gary P. and Lisa Kingsley of Andros, Bahamas; five grandchildren , Meghan Kingsley, Nolan Kingsley, Christian Riegert, Declan Pertee and Katelynne Pertee.
