Josephine Anna McCarthy, 86, died Thursday Sept. 10, 2015 in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
Survivors include sons, Gregg Brown of Bedford, Gene Brown of Indianapolis, Dale McCarthy of Somerset, Kentucky, Sherman McCarthy of Greenwood and Mark McCarthy, daughter, Cheryl Brown of Bloomington; sisters, Frieda Hunt of Indianapolis and Mary Brackly of Franklin; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John McCarthy and a son, Johnny J. McCarthy.
