Josephine Saglimbeni Cacciotti
Troy Josephine Saglimbeni Cacciotti of Wendell Avenue Troy, died Friday, February 18, 2005 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany after a long illness.
Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo Saglimbeni and Carmela (Settembre) Saglimbeni and wife of the late Marco Cacciotti.
She was raised in Schenectady where she resided for over 20 years, lived most of her life in Troy and was educated at Draper High School in Schenectady and Mildred Elley School in Albany.
Mrs. Cacciotti was a secretary and Government Screener for the US Atomic Energy Commission at the Knolls Site in Niskayuna for 20 years until 1960. She was a homemaker for many years.
She was a member of Omega Psi Sorority in Schenectady and a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy. A dedicated mother and grandmother, she would go to any extent for the enjoyment of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Denise Cacciotti Ryan (John) of Troy; her loving son, Carl M. Cacciotti of Brunswick; her wonderful grandchildren, Heather and Ashleigh Cacciotti and Mark Ryan; a devoted sister, Ann M. Hutt (Leonard) of Nashville, TN and several dedicated nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ben Saglimbeni.
