Josephine A. Gorski, 90, of Granger, IN, formerly of Roseland, IN, passed away at 2:15 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2006, in her home. Josephine was born on March 14, 1916 in South Bend, to Michael and Marcyanna (Gorecki) Kroll, and was a lifelong resident. She retired in 1977 from Valley Lea Dairies, where she was employed as a Lab Tech. On June 17, 1943, as Josephine A. Kroll, she married Casimir J. Gorski, who preceded her in death on February 13, 1993. Also preceding her in death were seven sisters, Katherine Golubski, Stella Chwalek, Mary Kroll, Frances Bodge, Clementine Gorski, Tecla Hansen, and Felice Plonski; and two brothers, Tom and Edward Kroll. Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen J. (Dan) Venis of Granger, IN; two grandchildren, Michele L. Pischalko of Duvall, WA, and Steve R. (Stephanie) Pischalko, II, of South Bend, IN; two step-grandchildren, Kristel Venis of Mishawaka, IN and Mandy (Keith) Gartlan of Florida; one great-granddaughter, Sophia Rose Pischalko; and four step great-granchildren, Jordan Venis, Sean Gartlan, Colin Gartlan, and Sydney Harmen-DuJardin; and by many nieces and nephews.
