MIDDLETON: Joseph W. DeFeo, 76 passed away on August 11, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He had his loving family by his side. Joe was born January 3, 1939, he was the son of Albert and Carmella (Cioffi) DeFeo and was raised in East Boston. Joe was the beloved husband of 53 years to Lorraine (Tordiglione) DeFeo. Loving father to two sons, Joseph M. DeFeo and his wife Wilma of Orlando, FL., Paul DeFeo and his wife Julie of Andover, MA; adoring “grandpa” to Christopher and Matthew DeFeo of Andover. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Dilia DeFeo of East Boston, and sister Angela Pastore and late husband Anthony of Salisbury; and “Uncle Joe” to many loving nieces and nephews. He graduated East Boston High School in 1957 and went on to Northeastern University in Boston to earn his degree in engineering. He spent most of his career as a Project Quality Engineer for the Gillette Company in Andover, MA.
