Joseph S. Skraban, 85, of Hanover Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2007, in VNA Hospice of St. Luke’s in Lower Saucon Twp. He was the husband of Dorothy (Banko) Skraban for 56 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Celec) Skraban. Joe proudly served his country during WWII in the Army with the Tropical Lightning Medical 25th Division in the South Pacific. He later graduated from Temple University in 1950. He was employed as an Electrical Engineer for 34 1/2 years for AT& T until retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. John’s Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: he will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dorothy at home; daughter Karen S. Cohen and her husband Paul Poirier of Coral Springs, Fla.; grandsons Jeffrey S. Cohen of Warner-Robbins, GA and Bryan A. Cohen of Orlando, Fla. He was predeceased by siblings, Stephen, John, Margaret and Josephine.
