Joseph Salvatore Perna, 91, died the 23rd of October, 2018 after a long illness. Mr. Perna was born on December 23, 1926 in Newark, N.J. He owned and operated a produce stand at the Farmers Market in Newark for many years before moving to Palm Beach Garden Florida in 1976. Joe was a very religious man and was known to everyone as the nicest, kindest man that would always have a smile on his face, a positive attitude; and never complain about anything.
He was loved by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his wife Clementina, his parents, Antonio and Jennie Perna, his sister Mary Perna and his nephew Anthony DeRiggi. He is survived by his sister Lena DeRiggi and brother-in-law Michael, His Niece Virginia O’Boyle and her husband William, his nephew Joseph DeRiggi and his wife Virginia, his niece JoAnn Weigel and her husband Brad, his nephew Michael DeRiggi and his wife Maria, and niece Carolyn DeRiggi, as well as, many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
