He was the father of Steven, Richard, and Robert Spinale and Dawn Anderson. He was the step-father of Maryellen Luongo. Joseph leaves four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Charles and Elizabeth Spinale. Joseph was born on August 1, 1929 in Boston to the late Joseph and Anna (Silvestro) Spinale. He was a furniture salesman for La-Z-Boy for many years. He enjoyed reading and country line dancing with his wife, Anita.
